Great captures, Hayward!! I can't imagine how much fun those guys have.

Should we expect more shots from the Air Show?

Uh Oh, Hayward...let me jump in and save you...lol...those are the Air Force Thunderbirds, not The Navy Blue Angels...before the more fierce followers get to you...lol

Anyway, great captures...if I can work it out, I will be heading down to see the show myself.

Very nice, especially the first one. It gives a good context, both of how close the planes are to each other and the amount of spectators that are there in advance.

Hayward, talk about flying low! I like the way you have the angels on the far left in your first shot flying into the picture, and one of them inverted too! Cool stuff! Catching them in formation on the second is great also. I've enjoyed them!

As I live so near an Air Force base, this is a common site both in person and photographically. I have never seen a better shot than your first one here. The line of sails and the horizon line off the lake sends this one sailing right off the great air show chart for me. Wow that is good!

Nice capture Hayward, I can tell you from experience that these display pilots have nerves of steel and enjoy what they do so much that they never think about how close they are to each other. I love the moody sky in the first image and the feeling of speed in it. Second image just goes to show how well they have perfected what they do best, impress us all .
Love images, thanks for sharing.
David.

Wow, two amazing catures here Hayward. Great aerobatic action in the first one and a great shot of the formation flying. Two beauties my friend. You nailed them both.

Dave.
