Default In memory of our Boomer

Sadly we had to put our golden retriever, Boomer to sleep yesterday due to some health issues. He was just four years old this month. We will miss him much.

He certainly loved the winter and playing in the snow.

Sorry to hear about Boomer Dale.. but I'm glad you decided to share the news and the photos, cause I think as photographers, that's what we do,, we take photos.. so maybe putting together some of his photos in this post helped you in some small way..

photograhy isn't all sunsets and flowers, it's important to be open to a photo's purpose and in this case I think it's good ..I see a beautiful animal, he looks happy.. and very loyal in the 2nd.. full of life in the third and a family member in the fourth.. it's wonderful you have such meaningful record of him !!

I am very attached to my Dog.. he's sleeping against my leg at this moment, incase I get up , he'll know and he goes with me so as not to miss anything, so I understand how you feel because I love him very much,, but I would remind you that Boomer could have lived anywhere, and with anyone.. but he lived with you and after viewing the photos he lived an excellent and happy life so the time you spent together was good and right.

Sorry for your loss

Vin

My deepest sympathies go out to you. The loss of a beloved pet is never easy. Cherish the memories you have of him. As a dog lover myself and having been there as well I know and understand your pain. And never ,ever, let someone tell you "It was just a dog" , cause that is so not true.

Some beautiful shots of man's best friend. We just had to give my parents' golden retriever the green dream and it's always a sad time. It's good to have some wonderful memories and pictures help.

That's why I've been taking so many shots of my dear old cross-collie, who has been spoiled rotten by the Minister for War & Finance (wife).

Sorry for your loss.
