Default The Last Plum to be Plucked

I got my new Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS and just had to shoot this lone plum still hanging from the plum tree in our backyard. It is the last plum from this summer's crop. It was sweet and delicious.

The Last Plum

Decided to use the handy household sprayer to add some water drops. Also a vertical orientation for this shot.

Looks like it would taste very good. Very nice shot as well.

Thanks. It was tasty and I'm very happy with this composition of this shot. It was more challenging than you might think. I really had to fight motion blur because the wind is up this afternoon. Plus there is a lot that can be distracting. I really tried to get to the essence of this subject.

The plum and leaves really stand out well against the white background. Very crisp and clear shot. enjoy that new lens!

That white is the wall of an apartment building. It was perfect for the shot.

Thanks. I too like the horizontal. But I wanted to try a vertical and I also thought the water drops might add a nice touch. Unfortunately the drops are difficult to see.

Very very lovely shot. Reminds me of Suzanne Vega song - My Favorite Plum.

Thanks Mad. I'm not familiar with that song. I'll have to download it from iTunes. I do like Suzanne Vega. Just don't know that one.
