You are way braver than me jp. I don't think I would have gotten that close even with a good macro lens. This is one awesome shot, tho. Wasps have a really nasty sting so watch out. You've made the mother of this creature a very happy mother.

Fantastic.....I just kept staring at it...as it is truly amazing.....the detail in the wasp's eyes, and the hair on it's legs............what was he/she eating? I love insects and this is one of the best shots of a red wasp I have ever seen.

Very well done ,I am envious
