Very nice moon photo! Good contrast and excellent focus.

I don't know if you've used the Moon as a subject very often, but for you or whoever else is wanting to do Moon photos, here are my suggestions:

The Moon is surprisingly bright and doesn't require a high ISO setting to capture; ISO 100 or 200 is adequate and produce less noise (grain) and allows close cropping without losing significant detail.

With most lenses, stopping down to higher numbered aperture settings produce less sharp photos than settings around f/8 or f/11. The tiny openings at f/32 and f/45 can cause diffraction of light and lessens sharpness of the image -- important if you are going to enlarge an image with close cropping.

Like the Sun image also posted on your Flickr site, the light from the Moon is significantly lessened when the Moon is rising/setting or otherwise just above the horizon, so exposure time and aperture will be different. An advantage, though, is that you can get forground objects in the frame to produce a very nice effect.

Its a good shot. I think maybe you might crop out some of the darkness around it.

Hi, great shots.
I love the moon and have posted my shots on the forum before:

Different Moon Forms

As the others, cropping the picture will be more clarity.
I did not use a tripod, but this might help if you are not really 'steady'
A big lens gets you clser!

Nice work though!
