Nicely done. I really like the first one. The softness of the dress aginst the texture of the stone wall is very appealing.

![]() Vignette, eh? While I think I have an idea of what you're talking about, I'm not quite sure how to do it myself. In Gimp. Although I'd love to have PS, Gimp is my only option right now. I hear you on the leaning monument. I didn't really notice it until a couple of you pointed it out. THAT, I'm pretty sure I know how to fix in Gimp. As for the crop, I did do a tighter crop in the BW one in my Flickr set, but didn't want to post all BW one here. I do like the tighter crop better. As for the last image... "perfect composition"? Where's the blushing smiley? Not bad for a shot I took with my camera bag over one shoulder, a step ladder over the other, a bag of towels in the one hand (since it had rained and I knew no one else would remember), holding an umbrella over my head with my chin, while holding camera in the other hand. I'm very happy with it too.Quote:

Again, I don't mind the critiques. Should this thread be moved? I don't want to break any rules! |

I really didn't want to critique the images, it was a knee jerk reaction from a couple other posters.
As they stand, they really are great shots, I just added my two cents...
