Default Kangaroo close up

Here is a shot of a roo I took at work it just sat there and watched us go by. Cold morning too a good frost on the ground.

He looks cold the poor thing...its so good to see so many Aussies on dps and some great photos..helps me with my homesickness...

Violent? They are 18 feet tall with big teeth and huge claws and can carry a full grown human in their pouches. The kangaroo's regular diet includes smaller animals such as wombats, echidnas, wallabies and platypuses.

In fact the movie Evil Angels starring Meryl Streep as Lindy Chamberlain portrayed the taking of the child as having been done by a dingo (native Australian Dog), when the truth is, the child was taken by a big red kangaroo...........

That is a great shot of the roo. I miss travelling to Australia, I haven't been there since Steve Irwin (crocodile hunter) died.
