Default Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge

I took another shot, as it were, at capturing a Great Egret:

Meanwhile, I managed to scare off a Snowy Egret:

Not to be deterred, I found these guys hanging out in another salt pond (the larger size shows softness -- hard to avoid at this distance):

Snowy Egrets

Further up the Quarry Lakes trail, I saw this Red-Tailed Hawk:

Not a bad day for birds at Don Edwards NWR.

Nice shots, the RTH looks great and the Snowy Egret flying shot is fantastic. Egrets make tough subjects, those white feathers glow in the sun. You did a good job on these.

Looks like you have done a pretty good job of capturing them to me. I particularly like #2 his got those wings stretched right out.
