Default Packer Family Night

Only got some shots during warm-ups since a lightening storm moved in and the scrimmage game got cancelled.

Any ideas on what I can do to capture the motion better? I was using my 55-250mm IS lens. ISO was 400 and shutter speed was only 1/125. which I know isnt fast enough but apparently the tons of blinding stadium lights arent enough. Going to the preseason game this saturday and REALLY want to get some great shots. I will be 7th row behind the Packers bench.

She's got her priorities straight.

The only thing you can do differently is raise your ISO to 800 to get 1/500. That will introduce noise though. Do you have noise reduction software? Other than that all you can do is buy a faster lens.

we got great seats and it's my first professional football game!
Bears/!?!?!?!? ugh. dont get me started. My husbands family got me into the Pack years ago and they created a monster! I'm more die-hard fan then them all now! LOL Driver is my all time fav.

yea I never go over 400 ISO cause of noise. I do have some noise reduction software I use but I just still feel like I dont get that crisp pic that I strive for that way. Hubby is complaining about renting a lens for 100 for a week (including shipping) so I will just have to make do with what I have and hope for the best.

I really like the action shot on #1. Whoo hoo, GO PACK! I may be a transplanted yankee in TN Titans-land, but I will forever be a Packer fan! And I love the Packer/Titans game!
