Default Still Standing Strong

The abandoned "Old Hardwick Hall" in Derbyshire.
It was abandoned in the late 1500's and left to ruin since then. The brick work is still as good as ever and looking remarkably good for it's age.

Those walls still standing strong is a great testament to the construction of the building. It shows how strong something can be with the proper foundation, but a foundation without proper maintenance and tender loving care remains just a shell

Thanks for the comments gents,
on the inside of the building are fresco's still stuck to the walls, although the color has long gone and the wind and rain have started to alter the fine detail they are still in very good condition. Amazing to think they have been out in all weathers for just over 500 years. I would like to see some modern structures last as long...
