Default Summer Butterflies
The bush at the end of my deck was littered with bees and butterflies yesterday....a great camera opportunity:

All different sizes and colours

It was a pleasure to take the pics and see the awesome detail of these insects.....truly amazing and such a shame they have such a short life !

It has been a perfect couple of days for butterflies - the butterfly bushes (Buddleja davidii for the botanists) round here were also covered with them. Walking down the road was like visiting a butterfly house.
