Default Waikawa Beach

Took some HDR pics out at the beach the other day about a hour's drive out of town. the first one i tried to get a oil painting effect and i think i've come close to achieving it. The other is just a driftwood that caught my eye

This one is located at eastborne as most wellington people would know well

these are some lovely photos, i think some people would expect alittle more "surreal" out of hdr, by these are quite nice

I try to make them as natural as possible, not into *cartooning* landscapes very much as it makes it look to ugly for my tastes. the oil-painting effect was through a mixture of photomatix, lightroom and photoshop.. so thats been heavily modded so to speak.. but thanks for viewing

There are very good shed, I'm not a huge fan of HDR, probabaly because I can't do it very well, but these pictures aren't overdone and I'd be happy to have them hanging on the wall, good job
