Got these yesterday
I got my eye on you

I'm not sure what was in this pile of pond scum, but I watched him eat it all- whew!

Very nice! The first 3 are all tack sharp, with very good poses. Green herons are beautiful, and you presented this one well.

The last one is just funny. I have know idea what it's doing, either, but I smiled when I saw that photo.

I have no idea what the heron is doing in the last pic, but the 1st pic, the herons reflection of its self in the water caught my. Good photos I enjoyed looking at them.

Great shot. How did you get so close, and what lens did you use. I looked at your flickr page and it said 800mm. I took this ordinary Heron yesterday with my Tamron 200-500mm, not as good as yours though:
