Sunflower Mania

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get out and take many pictures these past few days due to work. So here is some old stuff. On the way to a friends house a couple weeks ago, I decided to go a different way than normal and drove past this MASSIVE sunflower field.

It goes on a while in either direction in this picture.





This one is actually from my neighbor's backyard, but it fit the subject matter.

Great shots, we had some fields up north I really wanted to shoot, but never made it back, they are so bright and cheerful. Thanks for sharing these.

They really are fun. It made my day even before hanging out with my friends driving by this. I'm hoping to get the chance to go back to that field sometime and take some more.

The first two shots feel a little dark to me (could be my computer display) but the third really has great composition and color. Sunflower yellow is great - hit it with some grapefruit pink in the sky and you've got an absolutely gorgeous shot.

The first 2 each give a very nice sense of scale, but in very different ways. Beautiful.
