Dave, that's an excellent poodle portrait. You captured a great expression. I love the yellow coneflowers. It's not a color you often see. Interesting set!

Great flower shots !! I know it's inevitable, so I am waiting for the thistle to go to seed ... gorgeous shots coming of that

What an excellent poodle potrait, great DOF and a lovely doggy smile. The others a very nice too, I like the colours in the last one.

Great shot of the poodle dave. I like it a lot. All of the flowers are really nice but the last one is my fave.

They are artichoke thistles, an aggressive and invasive non-native species (at least here in California).
