Default Few More from Trip

During our trip we did a lot of hiking, exploring and site seeing. One of the places we went to had caves that you wandered though. The caves were connected on the outside by a wooden stairway. This first shot is from the top "outlook" point looking down.

polar caves

These guys were growing along the wall of one of the caves
mushrooms

We went on a hike one morning. My daughter and her friend were happy when we got to the top and they still had reception.
tee and em

This one came out like crap, however I had to put it in here for Dave. The place with the caves had a duck pond. As we were going up the walkway I saw four ducks running by all in a row. So I followed them and soon saw that what was really happening was one female being followed by 3 males and it soon turned into a Duckbang. Reminded me of Dave's pigeon love shot. lol

Polar Caves would have been my second guess. Off to see tall ships in Portsmouth on Sunday

Have fun and I can't wait to see your shots of them. I saw them once about 20 years ago in Mass and they were amazing. What time are they going out ?

Just substitute my daughter in your shot and your picture would become my picture! Also love the mushroom shot...very striking!

How completely diverse acouple of musroom clinging to the floor of a dark cave No one would have known about them except for you recording them and then the girls keeping up to the second track in the world of texting whilein the wildernest where no one knows about the mushrooms Very cool

Those shrooms look almost translucent, hope they weren't radioactive. Great first two shots though. Unfortunately I agree with you on the fourth shot, but those ducks were getting it on.

Nice one teedlepeep, love the perspective on the stairway shot. Looks fun to go down, but a *)^% to come back up.

Kinda sad how technology has taken such a huge place in these kids lives. I would never have thought of texting anyone on the top of a mountain!!

I wonder if the coloring had something to do with the darkness they live in. Yeah, the duck shot is bad... but it shows what they were doing and that was all I wanted.

Thanks!! Those stairs were a beep to go up. There is a sign near them that says something about there being 87 steps to get to the look out point. I have hiked and biked so much in the past week that I can barely move.
