I agree! Nice shots. Pretty challenging, too, to start with night photography. I love to do night shots, but they can be tricky. Yours look very good.

Hope you don't mind some advice that I was told when I first started. In the first image you should loose the wood railing in the foreground it don't add the the image it only distracts you eyes. In the third image the picture is sharp but there is nothing of interest to focus on. I find myself looking around the image looking for what you seen that made you take that shot. The fourth image the right side is blown out due to the bright light. If the exit sign was what you were trying to shoot then crop it so you only see that. Hope this helps. Like said just keep shooting and posting you will get all the help you need here.

I agree with Frank about the last image, it's a bit too bright on the side. But I quite like the other pictures! Even if there really is no point of interest, it's still an amazing picture that's nicely taken I think.

I didn't mean to imply that they were not good images I just feel there needs to be something to compose the image around. They are all properly exposed good and sharp (except for the last one).

Oh I know you didn't! I was just saying what I felt about it, sometimes there does need to be a subject, you're right there. I just think in this case, there doesn't need to be, just because the building's there I find interesting.

thanks for the help comments! I know composure could be better on most of my shots. I work nights so I take my breaks to go shoot stuff, so a good chunk of what Im shooting has been at night LOL

for some reason I have a feeling that I'll be shooting and shooting and shooting... long into the future Ive always liked photography, but wasnt ever satisfied with my point and shoot so now that Ive got a good camera Im going to wear the thing out
