Default In Search of Texture

I went out a few days ago looking for "texture" shots (for no particular reason). Here are 2 that I came up with.

Weathered:

Misleading:

(This building isn't abandoned.)

Thanks for looking.

Both pictures are excellent, cleverly seen, captured and presented, expecially the first with the light and shadow, wonderful textures and colours here and you've got to be pleased with these reults, nicely done chip

Both pictures are so different, both are so good. Do people really live in that building?. The first picture is exceptional, love the colours the light and shade the texture.

I really enjoyed the lines and colors and shapes in the first photo.

Michele - Many thanks. The building is commercial/industrial, not residential. So, I too sure hope no one lives there!

Dashing....darn. I LOVE the misleading "abandoned" building for 163 (maybe four) reasons. Jazzercise is cutting my adoration short but it is there, nonetheless!

really good shots. I, too, prefer the first one, but both are great. With the first one especially, I feel like I could touch the screen and get the texture.

Excellent job, Chip. Love the texture portrayed in your first shot, and the rust running down off the frames and onto the glass is a really nice ffect in your second shot. Enjoyed them both!
