Default Hummers

I tried taking some hummer bird pictures today. no matter how much i told them, they didn't stay still! anyway, i just set up my tripod and camera, got my book and waited by the feeder. I didn't get many good ones. but i got some silhouettes. sadly, the tips of the wings got cut off in some of the pics, but i just went with what i got. i'm hoping to get some better ones tomorrow, when i fill the feeder. lol

thanks, angeleyes. i was surprised at how quickly they got accustomed to my presence. i was sitting there for probably only 5 minutes before they started to come.

I started to play with them a little bit on photobucket editor and i got a couple of cool designs. i'll post them in a minute

What is fun about this hobby is overcoming the obstacles and meeting new challenges. These are good... most of my attempts came up with an empty frame LOL... the buggers are sure fast!

Amen to that. I need to get a feeder for them so I am not trying to chase them around our yard, haha.

Nice shots, though.

that's fine coalminer! those are excellent shots! I don't think i could get that kind of detail with my camera. I wish I got some, though. it was overcast today and the birds were backlit, so i didn't have much choice.
