Default Gold Coast Sunrise

It was an early one for us this morning when our 13 month old son woke us up at 5:30. he must have heard me tell DH last night "Depending what time he wakes us up in the morning, maybe we could just chuck on some clothes and go try to catch the sunrise." Of course at 5:30 this morning it sounded like the worst idea ever. Nevertheless, we went, and out of about 80 pics, managed to make something of about 10. Always the way!

I did the same thing while down in florida on vacation..5.30am seems a bit much but the results are well worth it ...your photos are beautiful and im sure you feel it was worth getting up for when you look at these photos...great shots.

Thank you all for your comments. Isn't it funny how photos can grow on you? I got home and looked at the pics and thought "Ugh, these are all horrible!" but the more I look at them the more I like them! Here are a couple of more...

2.5 sec exposure, trying to capture the loose sand skimming across the beach

I call this one "To Surf or Not To Surf...That is the Question"

IMG_3224

My son's footprint next to a runner's...Nicklas tried to chase the guy, but quickly fell flat on his face (he's 13 months)

And said 13 month old....he loooooves the beach! Might have a little surfer or life saver on our hands! Bummed that this one came out so grainy

Thanks for looking!

As with the first set, these are great. I especially love the first one.
