Smile How Do You Like Your Hostas?

A couple images taken in my garden yesterday; messed around with processing them a bit.

I hope you enjoy.

I'm not one to do a lot of selective coloring, but this one just begged for it, so I obliged.

Selectively Colored Hostas

One of these days, I'll get a good waterdrop shot. For now, I'll take this.
Hostas in the Light

Thanks for looking! Have a preference?

I think you need to do more selective coloring. It is truly wonderful.

Swanner & FTBOAH - Thank you so much.

I love selective coloring when it works. So often it doesn't, or is overdone. When it's subtle, it's pretty cool. Thank you both for your comments.

Worthy of a botanical society promotional poster, I say.

I usually cut the flower off of my hostas, but you have made me rethink that! Great picture!

Default If I may...

Thought I'd share one more...

This is the third photo I took yesterday. A single rose had bloomed so beautiful, and with my custom white balance from a product shoot earlier in the day, it made the pink flower appear orange.

This is straight out of camera.

A Single Rose
