Lightbulb Red flare ahead...

Not sure where lens flare becomes sun spots, but in this pic I got it all. Totally unintentional, ofcourse : I can still hear my dad's well meant advice "Always the sun in your back !" , when taking my first pictures with the family camera. Now I'm showing my own kids (the red head is my oldest) how to hold the camera... .

Sometimes lens flare conveys a feeling of the view. We're obviously looking at the paraglider which is in the direction of the Sun (we can't always change our viewpoint, even with our eyes sans camera), our view is plagued with glare as evidence by the figure in the foreground shielding her eyes, but the view is so inviting we do what we can to see it.

You even have a bit of a solar spectra down near the bottom. Neat.

I personally like the shot, flare and all.

Fantastic shot! The continuity of reds and auburns between the sun spots, the girl's hair in the light, and the ground is excellent (if accidental, but give yourself more credit) and frames the action to the right quite nicely. The girl's pose is perfect too. This shot begs for a story. I can sort of see a conversation right before this, then the glider jumps off the cliff, leaving the girl watching after him in a confident sort of awe. I'm a terrible narrator, but you know what I mean.
