I'm sure Audobon would be jealous. Poor guy had to settle for sketches back in his day. But this photo shows the kind of vivacity you can get from a creature when properly photographed. if you ask me, the eye of the kite really makes this shot, but I like how you've chosen to include so much of the stick/perch for composition purposes. Adds a little more character to the shot than a shot displaying only the bird. That would have been too textbooky/taxonomic I think.
