Default Early Morning Surfing

Hi everyone, did you miss me? I've been busy taking photos while I've been gone, got up twice before the sun, unfortunately I'm not overjoyed with the photos I've got sooooo much to learn. However over the next few days I'll share some of them with you.

Good morning, I've missed you Michele

Great light first thing in the morning and a great selection pictures posted today, and just look at those shadows.
I love the sea and the waves, excellent work
Cheers for now, beach

Welcome back. These are all great. I love the second one with the rocks jutting out onto the beach and the greenery adding depth to the photo.

Thanks Beach, it's pretty hard to take a bad shot here (although I did succeed several times this visit, must be trying to hard).

Thanks Michelle, your right the beach is such a beautiful place, usually very peaceful, this visit included five children, four in-laws and five grandchildren, the eldest being three, I'm exhausted.

You're not happy with these?! Or are these the cream of the crop? I think they're fantastic! I'm going to try and get up before the sun this weekend...we'll see how it goes. I tried taking some night shots tonight but they all came out really crap!

you're being away is quickly forgotten when you come back with these! (did that come out right?) Great set here Michele, there is so much to enjoy in each, but the way you've captured the breaking waves and the light within the rolls is awesome.. thx and fyi sleep is overrated .. enjoy the shore!

Hi manwez, no it is the shots I took before and while the sun got up that I am not totally happy with. I'm just having a bit of trouble knowing how to capture what I want on long exposures.

Thanks Jack, I had some glorious mornings as you can see and the water was crystal clear, but freezing cold. It never stops those surfers from being down there.
