Default Hanging around camp

While we were hanging around camp last weekend, I decided to try some candid portrait shots. I'm very uncomfortable shooting people but since these were friends I thought I'd give it a try. All of these are straight out of the camera so I can study the settings and light conditions.

OK, Deb. Time to get over your reluctance to shoot people! These are very good and I remember the engagement shoot you did for your daughter, which was also very good. I believe this is an area you ought to pursue more because you have a talent for it.

These are nice portrait shots. I also prefer to shoot people in candid than in poses because it has nice results like in this set.

Well, I'm impressed... if I could shoot people that well, I'd get over my reluctance to take more portraits. These are really very good.
