Hi Shannon, welcome to the forums!

Nice shot, the only thing I would say is there are a couple of dust spots needing cloned out. One near the right eye (as you look at it) and one near the nose.

Unfortunately I do not have the pleasure of having PS or Aperture *FROWN* (I have a 5 month old and am not able to spend any 'photo money' for a while) So at the moment my photos have to be as they come - I will retouch when I can..........

Welcome to DPS
Your dog looks just like mine and m daughters...ours are maltese/shih tzy mixes. Even their teeth looks the same.
He's adorable.
Like the shot...I've taken many of mine just like that.

Nice shot. Look at DogheadGod's last post and download the GIMP program. Its FREE! There are plenty of tutorials on how to use it around the web.

pretty much when people post in "share your shots" I don't think they want or need critiques - that's what the critique forums are for... Share you shot is for fun! …to share the joy of the pictures we take!

Shannon - great shot of your dog! He looks like a character!

I didn't give a critique, I gave feedback. I'm sure she is here to improve her shots like the rest of us, and therefore a little advice or pointer doesn't go amiss. There is no point "Oooh and Ahhing!" as nobody will learn from it.

The rules state

Code:
For others, if you'd like to respond to the post you might like to:

   1. Give feedback/encouragement
Both of which I provided.

But, I'm sure a mod will put me right if I am out of line in what I posted.

Cute puppy! Welcome to DPS. It's a nice place to learn and improve. Looking forward to seeing more of your shots!
