Default First post... Aussie possum..

Ok, this is the first time I've posted pics (and only my second ever post!!) so I thought I'd start with some pics I took back in May on holidays ... this possum surprised us with a daytime visit .. They were always out and about in numbers at night, but never saw them in the day until this one wandered out for a look around. I cut up some apple and it loved every minute of it (unfortunately the possums at this place were accustomed to being handfed.. at least i gave it healthy stuff!)

Enjoy!

Welcome to DPS. These closeup shots are spectacular. I have never seen one up close before, their eyes are so big and their mouths are so small.

Welcome to DPS Cathi! What a Wonderful 1st post! All 4 shots are well composed and your focus is perfect. What a Cute Critter. Nothing like the possums in the States at all. I want one!!!!!!! The last two are so expressive.
Thanks for Sharing these
Michael.

Thank you so much everyone! Yes it was an absolute treat to have it come out through the day and it gave me the chance to capture it without full flash... he was so friendly and cooperative and didn't seem to mind the big lens shoved in his face haha.. Here's one more that makes him look totally cheeky

you are very lucky, my friendly neighbourhood possums only comes out after dark. I would suspect that this is not the first time he has been feed either.

Lovely photos of a very cute subject
