These are so beautiful and have a somewhat magical look to them...i have seen the barges on televsion shows and id really love to actually see them on the canals...the scenery looks so peaceful. You did a very nice job on the selective colouring and on all the PP....great work as usual.

Thank You so much Lorraine for your very encouraging comment. Well you invited me for dinner to your lovely Amish community. So I can now return the favour with a lovely dinner at Owd Nells Canalside Tavern and Guys Restaurant. You are always welcome and there is no better place to view the canal and barges.

Your Bessie.

Jake I think you did a outstanding job. I need to start learning how to do the things you did with your pictures. I like how you did the green boat. Thanks for sharing. Terry

Dave, interesting foray into the world of post processing and selective coloring. I sometimes wonder how you find the time to be so attentive to others' posts and learn PP as well. I like all of these, but I'll have to give the nod to the bridge....excepting the fact that I'd love to have a beer at the tavern and the cross cultural experience of drinking it warm, the English way.

Thanks for the great comments Mike. You would love the tavern and you are so welcome to join for dinner. With regards to having time. Its only because I have time off work at the moment. And the beer. Mike I hate warm beer and always drink it cold, just like you..lol
Thanks again Mike.

Dave.

I like cold beer too!! Canal boats are endlessly fascinating as well as the waterways themselves. I particularly like 1 and 3-the sepia works well and I LOVE the great bridge reflection. Excellent work.

Yay!!!!!!! I love mine cold, and there's nothing better than a cold Newcastle (one of my favorites). Man, I'd love to share one with you, but don't think I'll be in the UK anytime soon. Guess it'll have to be a virtual one....
