Default My 2008 Top Ten Photos - Part 2 Added

I thought what better way to introduce myself than to show you some of the top images I took last year covering a wide variety of genres - we have macro, astronomical, action, portraiture, wedding, animal, plant, landscape and more.

These photos were taken on a variety of cameras:
Sony Cybershot 3MP
Canon 400D
Nikon D90

I have kept all the images small so as not to overburden the post since there are ten images in it. I am happy for any and all comments, critiques and questions.

Enjoy!

In no particular order:

Very nice. I especially like the gas and asphalt one, with its shapes, light and texture.

All of them are very nice. I might have to choose the splash as my favorite. I like the contrast between the red and aqua and also the water splash.

Great way to introduce yourself and Welcome to DPS!♠

All of these are really special images. Great job! I love the tonality of the fourth, but then again, I'm a B&W freak!

Thanks guys...I appreciate your stopping by.

Chip: Not bad for a quick snap with an odd Cybershot. I saw this on my way to work one morning and luckily there weren't too many people around to see me lying on the dirty ground of our parking lot.

fstopMike: The splash was created in my kitchen sink actually - the lighting at night just made the metal go that nice aqua colour.

denja: I am a B&W fan as well - I usually try every photo in B&W and a heavily desaturated tone as well - this particular horse and rider series I did almost entirely in B&W.

Here's my initial reaction: "Wow, this gal is good."

Nice shots and welcome to DPS.

Thanks Rusty. This gal appreciates it. Since the weather looks so nice for Sat, I am planning a road trip to parts unknown (to me anyway). Hopefully there will be many a pretty picture when I return.

PART 2
I know it isn't exactly 24 hours but I don't want to be up so late from now on. Please bear with me while I wind this time back several hours.
