Default Stone Olive

Stone Olive is the simple description of the tree, they tend to grow into rocks, cracking them open as they grow...

I would love comments on, well everything...

What an amazing tree. It looks really strong and large with an amazing root system. Thanks for sharing.

Is this near Joburg? I lived near there for two years and never heard of this tree. This is amazing...love the shot and thanks for the education. Everything South Africa is of interest to me.

Hi, this was shot in a private game reserve next to Kruger National Park.

We were lucky to see all of the big five, although i did not manage to capture a photo of the Leopard.

Living in Joburg has it's own set of challenges, but it keeps life interesting.

I like the way trees have their individual ways of growing not just straight up and down, but twisted every which way. You have done a great job at capturing this tree's unique way. Thanks for sharing.
