Default stay icey!!

I'm not sure if I posted some of these shots here, but these are some shots that I took with my camera (when it was fairly new, got it around the time we got a biiiiiig ice/snow storm) during the ice storm that made me miss school for a week (and it was in session!)


Some ice on a tree limb.


Ice on a fence.


I think I may of over did the editing in this.

Interesting shots and a welcome respite from the heat of summer. Since you got the storm, it was good to see it wasn't wasted because it shut down the schools! I'll bet it was a pretty big storm to shut down schools in Ohio!

welllll, its easy to shut down schools round here, lot of back roads for the buses to travel

OMG, that is a lot of ice. I remember those days in New England...too bad the most beautiful is the most damaging too. First thing in the morning with the sun on it makes it look like a crystal wonderland...so stunning

It's also a bit creepy, espeically after you get the snow on top of the ice and go outside....and everythings white.....
