Default what sort of bird is this?

Photobucket hi to all i am hopping some one can tell me what sort of bird this is ? i took this photo at the beach the other day ,it was a fairly rushed shot as i was halfway up the cliff face getting some photos of some surfers so i didnt have time(or the balance)to change the focus or metering settings on my camera.i never realized how hard it would be to aim straight up and take a photo while standing on a small ledge,i have a few more of this bird but havent uploaded to photobucket yet. thanks for any comments kym

I'm no expert, but I'll put my money on 'eagle'.

I'm far from an expert, but I'd hazard a guess at some sort of falcon

I don't know either Kym. But it sure is a nice capture. Nice contrast with the sky too.

Dave.
