Hi everyone

I'm fairly new to photography, although i have enjoyed it for years now i have only just got my first DSLR. A Nikon D90 with 18-200VR lens, Slik tripod, some cokin filters and a shutter remote is what i have so far.

I would be greatful if i could have some feedback on my first few shots and maybe some adivce to help me along the way.

Cheers

Hi Damian and a warm welcome to our friendly forums. It looks like you have worked hard with your composition and it has paid off so well. They are all excellent photographs but the third one with the reflection is exceptionally good. Great work and I hope we will be seeing many more. Hope you enjoy your time here. Have fun.

Dave.

Wow thanks for the nice comments and quick replies, i really appreiciate it. I am new to this website also and need to get exploring what it has to offer. The photos have only had slight work in paintshop pro 12x but only a layers adjustment to pick out some of the highlights and midtones etc. The arches had a little dodge and burn to lead you into the picture, and a little black touch up in the arch ways.
I will post more soon as i have taken some )
Thanks again
Damian

they are so cool mate no worries.Love the reflection shot. Im a guitar nut as you may see in my shots (not all of course).I have never taken any shots of guitars in b/w except for some acoustics to capture that grain in the woods. Electric guitars have great colours and shiny bits lol!! and vox amps like in your pic has great textured retro material on the front(only cos om missing my old one). i supposet im saying that i would like to see the coloured version.
lets see some more thay are ace
thanks for sharing
mike
