There was a HUGE life lesson learned here! Before these hatchlings came along, my daughters were taught (quite sadly) the reason for leaving "nature" alone. My oldest had touched and dropped one of the first eggs and the mother abandoned the nest.
She made the nest again in the same exact spot and laid two again. They hatched the other day.
