Default the running tide

the running tide

waves

I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied.
And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying, and the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying.

This is just WOW! Not the normal angle that ocean is photographed from and I love it!

Love the way you caught the airy foam as the water rolled in. Loads of power and I feel as if I'm standing right there. Great work and, again, perfect words.

Makes you want to pull back so as to avoid the spray .. beautiful as always bud .. I see you have Sea Fever ..

And all I ask is a merry yarn
from a laughing fellow rover,
And quiet sleep and a sweet dream
when the long trick's over.

Beautiful poem to boot, thx for introducing me ..

Ahhhh, so beautiful and not only a wild call but a timeless one as well, going on ever so long as there's been a sea.
