Wink A "Hoppy Surpise"

Yesterday we went to take some pictures of my fiance' at the Cedars of Lebanon National Park. She is very shy about getting her picture taken because she was traumatized by her mother who had a manual focus camera when she was young. Even so, we ended up with a really fun experience and I got some really great shots of her. If you want to take a look at those, feel free to check out my zenfolio at infpalex.zenfolio.com.

So, even though we were there for her, while we were walking around looking for places to take some shots we came across a "hoppy surprise!" I spotted a tiny little frog, he was adorable! I named him Henry! I snapped a few shots and let him hop off. I took a picture of him in my hand to give you the scale of how tiny he was. I have really small hands and he was tiny in them!

I got only couple shots of him because I didn't want to mess with him too much... Here's one straight on and he's like geez, do I really have to pose?

And, here is another one at the same angle right before he hops off! He was so cute. Thank you Henry for letting me take your picture!

Nice DOF in these shots. Good focus. Cute little bugger.

Henry is a cute little feller and he seems to be a willing model. Welcome to DPS and thanks for sharing.

Great focus on the pic of the frog. The shots of Leah are really good too!! You can tell as the pics go on she becomes more comfortable with the camera. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments... I love photography and have learned so much from DPS. I'm usually a forum lurker, I read about 1000 posts for every time I post! I appreciate all the posts everyone shares... I've become very inspired!

I never thought I could follow my dreams, but DPS and all of you have helped. I even got an internship with one of the best photographers in my town and I start next week! So thanks again to all of you!

Congratulations on that and nice work. No matter what you read here, you must put it into practice and it sounds like you've certainly done that. Good luck
