Red face 3:00am hike in Alaska.....

So I decided to go out again at 3:AM this morning, but this time I had 5 people tag along. But to be honest it was allot more fun than going alone. We laughed up and down the 4 - 5 mile hike, which just made the time fly bye. I did learn that I wish I had the energy of my two dogs. They ran to the top of the mountain and back down at least 4 times. While we were still working on just going up. But it was all worth it, I got Some really nice shots (at least I think so, we will see what you all think soon). Well lets start out with my favorite and go from there.

Ugh, 3 a.m. Love the stillness and the reflection in the first shot. That would make getting up at that deity-forsaken hour worth it.

Great Captures, Your favorite is mine as well! love the reflections in the water, kind of plays trick with my perception! But I have to say, there is nothing that would get me up at 3:00 a.m to go hiking!.
Thanks for sharing these

Wow 3am. These are all excellent TRR but the first one is awesome. The reflection and stillness of the water is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your morning "stroll"

Dave.

That first picture is amazing! The rest are all beautiful as well, but the peaceful, calm feel of the reflective water really is inspiring.

Thank you all so much for the great comments. When I saw the first one sitting there, it was like it was asking me to capture it. April if you live up here in Alaska, I would love to have a shooting partner. I don't normally mix people in to my shots, but that waterfall was calling to be shot that way. I'm happy with the way it turned.
