Very nice! I am too chicken to ask. I tend to stand back and zoom in. Haha! But you got some great shots. Keep up the good work!

Wow, these are really good shots. Good for you for asking people. Most people love to pose for the camera....if you just have guts enough to ask. Nice work

Playing for donations toward her tuition at bible college:

Loved these kids posing on a bench carved from a large tree stump for their moms:

Selling me some iced tea from their huge selection of loose teas:

Selling jewelry stuff of some sort. I didn't actually ask her, just zoomed in while she was talking to a potential customer:

Good job, Bob and kudos to you for asking and jumping in there in an effort to improve your craft. All of these are very well done.

They are all very nice, very different and yet very simmilar.
It seems that you shoot at all your subjects from their eye level.
That is cool. As an exercise I would suggest you try also from beloww, way below and also above. I was surprized of the results when I first tried that.
I am also impressed by your courage.

To avoid situations in which you might make mistakes may be the biggest mistake of all.

Thanks. I'll give the varying levels a try next chance I get.

My son-in-law, a pro level photog, does a pow wow in northern NM most every year with a combo of candids, actions, and "posed" pictures. Lots of color and very photogenic faces.

Wow, that's pretty neat stuff. I really like the coffee trader one for some reason, it's very lively yet peaceful.
