Default Butterflies aren't free - Part II

Here are some more of the pics taken yesterday at the Cockrell Butterfly center in Houston, Texas. If you get a chance to go there it's an awesome place to see and take pics. I regret not bringing home one of the sheets that gave the names of the different butterflies.

Woody

Woody

This little guy started to take off just as I took the shot, thus the blurring in the wings.

Black on red

But that was okay cause these guys took his place.

Flocking together

Stunning orange beauty

Orange & Brown

I hope you enjoy these . Comments are always appreciated.I'll post more tmw if you're not tired of seeing them. At least it's not my dogs for a change. LOL

Have you tried contacting them. The chances are, they have a PDF of the document, unless it was something that you buy.

Shirley, we had a butterfly exhibit here at the botannical gardens and we had some of these same ones...the problem is it is so humid in there, at first our cameras wouldn't function. Is it like that there?
Your shots are wonderful..

Wow, last time I went, there weren't many butterflies out! I'll have to go back very soon!
Great shots! The colors are so vibrant!

Thanks for the very nice comments everyone.

Ttrimm,
the handouts they gave out about the butterflies were something you had to buy.

Leona,
yes the humidity was horrible. I had to leave out twice so that I could cool down, but I had no trouble with my camera.

Stitchbug,
There were loads of butterflies yesterday, more than I saw the last time I went some years ago.
