very nice crisp shot.....these are some of the meanest birds in the world but they are beautiful to look at when they are not stalking the rest of the animal kingdom

Given how bold jays tend to be, it is odd (and cute) to see the "guilty, I've-been-caught" expression in his face. That's an overall impression but as my eyes zoom in, I enjoy the mosaic pattern on his wings, the catch light in his eye and soft white tufts of his under belly. Three cheers for sharp focus!

hey don't tell the other jays I'm eating fruit !!

Deep contrast shows off the the vivid blue of it's feathers ( man that's a great blue ) and the deep greens of the tree .. your usual focus and exposure which is always flawless ..

that's the biggest hummingbird I've ever seen !!

great timing btw, no blurr in it's beak ( that's hard to avoid )
