Default I have returned

haha Feels like it's been a lot longer then it has been since I have had a chance to take any shots or come around here and look at everyone else's. Here are a few shots I finally got to take tonight.

I have always loved dragon flys. This year, I am making it a mission to get a shot that I really like. This isn't it, but it's still OK.

Went out for our nightly bike ride right before sunset. My favorite field was getting fogged in. So grabbed these two and played a bit with them in PS.

Here is Sam, who just finished eating and is still wearing quite a bit of it!! He is now a week and a half old. Still keeping fingers crossed for him to keep doing well.

How cute.....hope he makes it! Those fields look like African tundra to me....not what I envisioned NH to look like! That's my education for me today

Well since you went for a ride tonight, you must be feeling much better COOL !!

I love seeing another member post a photo of a subject and say " see this ?,, well I'm going to NAIL this thing... this photo isn't it, but keep a lookout cause I'm going to be working on it " ... I know because I do it all the time, like dragging DPS in with our obsession lol ..

pretty good start on the dragonfly .. some people would call that nailed, but I know you and your ability , you'll tell us when you get it and I'm sure it'll be off the hook !

the landscapes are cool .. I like the moon being kept in and the Vig in the 3rd is cool ( like a holga )

Go Sam Go ! , it's been quite a few days, come on little kitten you can make it !!

good to see you riding again, posting some photos and same still with us !

/hug

Hi teedles! I'm happy that your feeling better! Hope all is progressing and that that little guy makes it!
Dragonflys can be captured with some patience, when one flys away, just wait and see if it comes back to the same spot, then just stand there for a while and then get a little closer and start shooting, once they get used to you, they will stay there for a long long time.
Thanks for Sharing these

What an excellent capture of the dragonfly. Great detail. The field looks so nice with the mist especially in the second one and nice pp work too.
It looks like Sam is coming along just fine, I know you have cared for him so well. I hope you keep us informed of his progress.
Nice to see you back Sue.

Dave.

Thanks Patrick !! The first two weeks are the hyper critical for the kittens. If we can get beyond this Wed. then his chances raise a bit. I love that field ... depending on all kinds of things it can look so different. The PP I did on it really transformed it from a typical NH scene to something else.

I am feeling better now (finally) Thanks. The knee twinges a bit when I push it, but other then that as good as I get for the moment So lucky that it was as minor as it was.
You are right I am dragging my DPS friends along on my quest for the DF shot. I have in my head what I want it to look like. So far, they just haven't come out. But I'm still having fun so that counts too.

Thank You for the tip on the DF's. I am going to keep that in mind. However, patience is one of those things that I have to work really hard at having.

It's good to be back Dave. I will definitely update on how Sam is doing. Both his ears and eyes should be opening within the next 4 - 5 days. Should make for some cute shots !

Thank You !! Nice to be back Seriously feels good to have the time and energy to be here. I loved watching the DF. He would cock his head when I talked to him. Most likely he was hunting, but I would rather think he was interactive haha
