Default A birthday present from my daughter

Living with me for 20 yrs has given my daughter interesting taste in music. She grew up singing country with her Papaw at his jam sessions, and a lot of exposure to "vintage rock" with me. And she listens to a huge variety of the new music too. But, when she heard the Doobie Brothers were coming to town just before my birthday, she and her boyfriend surprised me by taking me to the concert with them. We had a great time!
These may not be technically great shots, but they are the best concert photos I have ever gotten. I have to give a lot of the credit to DPS.

These old rockers can still rock it out!

Still rockin it out!

These were taken from about the 30th row at an outdoor ampitheatre.

Nice shots. I like the glow on the cymbals on the second one and the red of the drums in the third.

Wonder what happened to my old buddy, Tom Johnston? Perhaps he retired.
You caught the feel of the event very nicely.
Great job.

Tom was there! He was on the other side of the stage most of the time and was harder to get, because there were a lot of people dancing on that side of me. Haha. But he still sounded great! I don't think he will be retiring any time soon.
