Default More from my Afternoon Macro walk

Shooting Insect Macros is easy if you have a fertile area, average concentration and a good working knowledge of your Camera and your Macro lens. I always shoot Macros in Manual Mode, using a Flash and I set the Lens to Manual and leave it there.

I walked for about a Mile/1.6 km and it took me 2 hours and 30 minutes, I came back with 225 captures and so far have approx 90 keepers.
I have so much more to learn, but I really enjoy doing this. The next step is getting to the right reference material to identify these so I can quit calling them insects and spiders ect.

Well Here are the next in the series.

Anisoptera (Yellow Stripped Hunter)

I just called him interesting, sorry I don't know what to call it. It's best viewed in the larger size:

I think these two were playing Leap Frog, but I could be wrong about that.
(Dolichopodidae (Long Legged Fly in Mating pose)

Acrobatics, (Ok, I know these were not playing Leap Frog.)

Thanks for taking the time to Look and your Comments are appreciated.
Michael.
