Default Rain work .. rain work ....

*sigh* not got out to shoot much recenly so edit mode has hit .... the field of fire one was inspired by a pic from a magazine I saw ..... anyways hope you guys like hoping to get out shooting some tomo if the rain will hold off long enough lol

and this one is just a messing about of selective colouring from a walk a couple of weeks agosadly I thought the house looked great but on walking further up the hill this was by far it's best angle

Hope you like .... anyone want some rain clouds to shoot ?

These are really great...the first is super. And we could use some rain along with the clouds.

Buddy, both are great but the first is by far my fav .. the oats in the foreground makes the fire in the sky jump out! fantastic!!

Hi FoG I think we see the same things. We are in the same area of the UK and all we seem to get is rain. Great work here buddy. you made good use of our lovely weather. The colours in the first one are stunning and nice use of selective colouring in the second one. Great work Fog and hope the predictions are right for tomorrow. should be nice. Fingers crossed. lol

Dave.

Bad weather gives us these fantastic opportunities to revisit older work and give it a bit a TLC. These are two excellent examples with the second being my favourite. Love the angle it's been taken from and would like to see it just in B+W with the contrast tweaked a little more, perhaps even crop some from the bottom and the right, its a picture with great potential, well done on a great capture FoG

I really like the second one. The composition is great and I'm not a big fan of selective coloring (though I do it myself sometimes too) but this is just subtle enough that it really works great!!

great shots FoG , love the orange and gold and the grass makes a awesome foreground

very moody B&W, really like the feel I get from the second, probably from the clouds..

Hope you get some sunshine soon and on a day your off from work !
