Default Butterfly Feeding Time

Well briefly last weekend we had some glorious sunshine, timed it to perfection as I photographed a friends wedding for them. But while I got my breath back from all the hard work I watched these beautiful butterflies feeing in my friends garden. Just love the colors and how beautiful nature can be, Just wanted to share it with you.
Have a lovely weekend.
David.

Nice picture. Every time I try to shoot these Peacock butterflies they close their wings and being black underneath don't make much of a picture! So, great shot!

Great shot. Nice flower as well. A Lilac, I presume?

Thanks for the kind comments folks, these butterflies were really flighty and I had to tread real careful to get nice and close. And as for the flower, its a Budlia Bush. they seem to like them a lot and are also known as the "butterfly bush".

Well done Dave, colourful composition of a butterfly and a Budlia, good to see you posting work again.
I agree with Ntinlizi, I'm looking forward to seeing the wedding pictures too

Nice perspective. I love the bloom trailing down on the right hand third of the picture. Very interesting.
