Default Ever see a hummingbird this close or sitting still?

Ever since my beloved Angel bird passed away a few days ago, I have a ton of these lil gems fluttering around. They land on my hands, arms and head!

Yes they sure will. They are pretty brave lil turds. One almost landed on my dogs head earlier this morning. That may not have been a bright move tho!

they are all amazing photos but the second one just calls to me!!

It is fantastic to be able to peek into nature's secrets and treasures. Sometimes I have to remind myself to stop looking and take the photo

Ours are still a little shy. they won't get that close and they certainly don't land on us. So what do I need to do to tame them?

Just keep standing there. Let them get used to you. Even stand and hold the feeder!
