Default Found Time

Recently I have not been able to pursue my photographic interest. Today I had some time to go on a walk around the lake in search of birds. The birds were on vacation today or in their air conditioned house, but a few other critters were around.

This little grumpy Crab kept that big claw held up in front of him for protection. Reminded me of a boxer as he countered every move I made and this is the only angle I could capture.

Grumpy

No birds but the Iguanas were out in force. Here is a shot of an old man from the area. This is a wild area, but I was able to approach within a few feet of this guy today and never spooked him. I'll keep it at one as I show a lot of these guys here, needless to say there are more on the Flickr site if you want to see more.

It must be incredibly cool to have that stuff at hand...we have some wildlife, but nothing quite like that. Awesome photos...thanks for sharing them

Thanks SP, exotic wildlife becomes normal after being around them. I miss the bears and deer from the mainland.

Thanks leona, I don't get a lot of variety in wildlife here, but that is what I like to shoot so I end up taking the same subjects photo over and over.

Thanks Patrick, they have become normal to me and the exotics are the deer and such from your area.

Thanks Angel, living on an island I am lucky to find any type of wildlife to shoot, but I shoot what I can find.

good to see ya Fred .. the crab rocks ! .. nice detail in the lizard, no signs of rust !!

I know what you mean, it can be hard to find time for everything and sometimes photography's a little too far down the list.

pop on when ya can, get out and shoot when ya can , good to see ya Bud !

Vin
