Default Afternoon Macro Walk

Well I've just about run through my Maui pictures and so yesterday I took a Macro walk along a canal that runs thru Sacheon, in South Korea where I work. it borders several farms and has lots of insects.
Here are a few of my favorites from the walk

Hanging pretty

a Lady

The next two are from the family called Araneidae (Orbweavers) or Yellow Garden Spiders and are quite large, almost 2.0 inches or 50.8 mm long, intimidating, but not dangerous

Michael, wonderful shots as usual. The spiders are really good shots....and this is how I prefer to see them. Nice work.

Wow Michael, is there not end to your talents. I can pick a favourite from these outstanding captures but I will just say that the ladybug is stunning and the detail is amazing. Wonderful work Michael.

Dave.

Very nice set of pictures. Love the #2. And #4 is so good and rich with detail that it gave me the creeps looking at that hairy thing. Nicely done.

Love all four shots. In New Zealand we call the ladybug a ladybird any which way you captured her well. I love the spider shots I have never seen one like this and am pleased my fisrt time is in a photo not in real life. Angela

Thanks Poorman, I kept trying to get these guys to face me, but I still have a little fear of them and they move so fast that every time I would try to move them around, they would run to where I touched the web and just spin back into the head down position.
