Default Treasures on our morning walk

Took a walk out in the far pasture this morning (well we do every morning ;-) )

One of my buddy's Mike. Very happy with this shot of him, the light was really good, plus he's so darn handsome!

Then they found a little treasure, I have no idea what kind of animal it was...you can see Bill's nose trying to figure it out LOL

Then on the way back, a tired sunflower, resting on a trailer.

And a pretty passion flower, trying to hide from the morning sun.

Beautiful shots Stella. But the one of Mike takes First Place.

Thank you ;-) I must say, I'm VERY happy with the shot of Mike. I go out just about every morning and we walk the hill...I take about a gazzillion shots ;-) OMG its embarrassing how much I shoot and of course I take a lot of the dogs...so when this one popped out ;-) I was thrilled ;-) next to fire and the internet, Dig. photography has got to be the best invention EVER! ;-)

Interesting set of shots. I like the resting sunflower, but the one of Mike is great.

Thanks all. I'm really trying to get out of my comfort zone of just shooting the dogs (although I'm looking forward to our trial season, when I can get some really good action shots) I usually end up taking a lot of shots of Stella (dog in my avatar, I'm Betty ;-) ) as she is just so striking...but Mikey's not a bad model either...I think I might try getting more people shots this year, and maybe try to think of different things to shoot at our dog trials...this forum has been really helpful, all the tips, the assignments, seeing what other people shoot...really glad I found this bunch

What a beautiful Border Collie! I like your flower shots as well. I like the daisy growing up over the table, Looks like it's ready to say Grace.
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.
