Default Oh My God I'm in love...

Ok, so it's fourth in line behind my son, wife and mom but DANG I love my new lens. Thanks to all that helped me out over in the Nikon forum. If the Nikkor version of the 24-70 is such an upgrade, and I believe people when they say it is, from the Sigma 24-70 f2.8 then I'm just not worthy yet. I spent the day exploring parts of Monterey and just wanted to share a couple of shots.

Quite possibly one of the most interesting people I've ever met and certainly the best Gyro's I've ever eaten . Who would have thought you could get great food from a food truck.

Some flowers on our street that I just thought were an interesting contrast in colors.

I really am blown away at how much of a difference the glass makes. Again thanks all for the input.

Doug

Welcome to the Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 DG club!

If you like people photography then you should consider the Nikon 85 f/1.4 ('cream machine' ) for your next purchase.

Great portrait and your choice of contrasting colors in the second is excellent! Enjoy that new lens.

The 85 is on my list but it's got 2 other lenses in front of it heh. It really is dead sexy though. I had one for a few days while I was trying to make up my mind and yea it really is all that and a bag of chips.
